DOTONBORI, OSAKA: Ichiran Ramen

One of the comfort food among all the delicious food would be ramen for me. Sometimes, there's is nothing more heartwarming than a bowl of hot served ramen. There's this ramen shop that stands out above the rest named Ichiran. I've heard so much about it and finally I got to try em' during my Japan trip last year. (hmmm yea last year...it's already last year...)

Upon entering the restaurant, which serves only pork bone/tonkotsu ramen, you are greeted by the vending machine. Insert your money, press the button corresponding to your desired food item and take along your ticket to your seat. You then slide your ramen ticket to the staff through a small window in front of your single seat. While waiting for your ramen, you can get a glass of water from the dispenser at your seat. 

Again, the window flies open and your ramen is ready! You can now fully experience your personally customized ramen with no distractions. 

There are Ichiran restaurants all around Japan but the one we went to was in Dotonbori, Osaka. Personally, though I'd make the trip there just to have the ramen. If you are in Japan and craving for an amazing bowl of noodles, you cannot go wrong with Ichiran. I recommend anyone and everyone who's going to Japan to satify their ramen cravings here. :)

MBK, BANGKOK: Mont Nom Sod

It's just another Bangkok food post again. Mont Nom Sod is a cafe which specialized in toasts and milk. The outlook of the cafe is very simple and their price is very affordable as well. Generally, Mont Nom Sod’s bread is nothing like our square white bread where the texture became a little tough after toasting. 

Their toast is crispy on the surface and fluffy soft on the inside. And oh. They are selling different flavors of milk too. But their milk are kinda sweet for me as I'm not a sweet person LOL.

Overall, Mont Nom Sod is a cafe which serves simple, yet delightful food at a very minimal price, guess i will return to this cafe again on my next visit. For anyone who haven't try it yet, don't forget to stop by if you happen to visit to MBK! :)

这两天天真的胖了好多

明明前几天没胃口才瘦了几公斤
刚才站上去称了称
结果真的胖回几公斤
喷血 那么见效

就是纯粹 简单 快乐的一天

也很替天下的人们开心 #lovewins

SUKHUMVIT SOI 38, BANGKOK: Thai Street Food

I miss Bangkok so much and I'll never get bored travelling there! Gonna blog about this attractive food location and I can't wait to go back to visit. There's seriously so much to discover and explore in Bangkok! Sukhumvit Soi 38 is a famous food street at Bangkok and it offers quite a variety of Bangkok street food like mango sticky rice, duck noodles, fresh fruit smoothies, Pad Thai(fried noodles), wanton noodle and others. The location is directly across Thong Lo BTS Station Exit 4. After my favourite wanton noodle(SabX2 wanton noodle) of all, this is another one I'm falling in love with.

Street food in Bangkok is always the best! There's no point for visiting Bangkok if you don't appreciate the chance of trying their authentic local food. And the best part comes to their price, they're extremely cheap and they always taste good! Visited Sukhumvit Soi 38 for dinner and had the best mango sticky rice in Bangkok. The stall is located on the right hand side at the entrance of the food street right below ThongLo BTS. However the famous wanton noodles stall located at the far end of the street.

Everyone surely will try mango sticky rice in Bangkok, surprisingly the best one is not from a restaurant or cafe, my boyfriend did some research about it and seems the best one is located at this food street. I can't be sure this is the best mango sticky rice but at least this is the best one I've tried so far in Bangkok. The glutinous rice is sweet and slight salty makes it very flavourful, complete with the smooth coconut milk and sweet mango make it the best combination.

Crab meat wanton noodles

So this wanton noodle has quite some good reputation. What makes this wanton noodle unique compare to the others is they added fresh crab meat as one of the ingredients. I really like to eat dry wanton noodles so I just go with the dry one every time. I heard the soup one is not bad too as well. Anyone of you who loves can try with the soup one. For me, wanton noodle will never go wrong with dry flavour ;)

Oh, as well you will get to try various of fresh fruit smoothies just right at the entrance of the food street. You will surely see the queue in front of the stall so just follow the crowd! :D I had passion fruit smoothies! Nommmm.

This is my first visit to Sukhumvit Soi 38 but definitely will not be my last. Thank boy friend for the research and all. So guilty because I'm always the one who lazy to do research about the place and all. Overall, this is an awesome place to indulge yourself in Bangkok's street food so do not forget to drop by! ;)

Kepong 甲洞: 阿姨咖哩麵檔

咦...吃了那麼多吃冒牌的今天才終於知道原來這個是正宗的

天啊 味道太棒了啦

真的好喜歡吃這個冬菇醬汁的肉丝腸粉

吃多少次也不會膩 可是好早就賣完了

為了吃美食 下次早點起床是一定要的啦

The boyfriend is a fan of pork so I decided to bring him to this real porky place that serves porky dishes from head to tail which located at Changkat Bukit Bintang. Stepping in, you will get to see a wide collection of piggy figures and paintings everywhere.

First, complimentary bread for us.

Then, we ordered this sausages with mash potatoes to share. So basically you will get to try four different flavour if sausages in a plate. Recommended for any sausage lovers.

The boy friend ordered this Japanese Sakura Pork Steak on the bone. We both think the pork steak was a little too thick and dry for us but it was ok.

So this is my choice - Marinated Pork Shoulder Steak. Highly recommended! I love how the pork steak tasted, it's so much flavour than the Sakura Pork Steak and it smells really good! Please give it a try and you would definitely love it as well!

Take note of their rest time.

Overall I had good dining experience over there. The prices for the food is standard and the staffs were friendly. Go and give it a try for any pork lovers! :)

今天男友也onsite最后一天了

和大伙儿吃完午餐后也帮我买了kyochon

因为真的好喜欢他们家的炸鸡

吃到真的好开心好开心

虽然有点小贵

可是没有尝试过的朋友真的可以试试

其实真真开心也因为好几天没见面了

所以见到面就格外开心了

你笑得很甜 我也一样

也要去旅行了 所以很是兴奋

喔 没有眉毛的我快长眉了

It's been ages I haven't come to Tsim Dung..

As it's located at Pandan Indah, the quite jam area..

The food was surprisingly still remain their standard..

It was indeed a great dinner.

Definitely will return for more!

Chinese style pork spaghetti. 

Know you've been worrying about everything.

There's nothing I could do for you. 

To make u worry less, make something sweet for you, treat u a nice dinner. 

That's what I think I can do for you now. 

Day 3 | but..

That was day 3 at the AES Conference.

Gastric attacked before the day of the conference so I just gotta stay at the hotel.

And wait for my colleague to be done.

I love hotel room.

I can just stay in the room for all day all night as long as I can access to the internet.

Dinner for the last day.

We went to La Boca @ Pavilion for dinner as it's just near to the hotel.

Nacho as appetizer, then spaghetti, burger..

But the burger wasn't that nice thou :( 

Would prefer their sandwiches.

The not-like-pizza-looking pizza, couldn't guess it was a pizza!!

More like a big pie.

Next morning, we went to Caffeiness  for brunch.

Their food are good since the first time I visited! :3

And of course, the cakes below were not from Caffeiness but from MACO @ Johor.

Which I just blogged about it few days ago.

Their durian crepe cake is just taste too good for real.

Throwing back to my Johor trip few months back.

Got the chance to drop by this cafe and bakery after we had fun in Legoland.

Maco cafe offers various flavors of Mille Crepe cake, coffee, spaghetti, pizza..

Holy durian mille crepe cake is the bomb there!

I don't find any durian mille crepe cake at KL so far.

Even yes, hardly get the nice one I guess.

The pizza was good too.

I personally like the one with thin crust so it fits my taste just nice! ;)
