Banyan Tree Event@Mandarin Oriental

An outdated post here..Me and the dad went to Mandarin Oriental Hotel weeks ago for the Banyan Tree event.

*A Bangladesh waiter actually poured a glass of cocktail on me accidentally and he didn't even apologized! What the!?*

Oh well...take a breath! Luckily that the material of my clothes are waterproof.

Oh yes! The best part of the event - food ! Mandarin Oriental serves amazing food.

This is their Oriental Duo Of Appetizer.

Honey glazed and marinated corn-fed chicken roll. Poached prawn and scallop with citrus.

Ahha, here comes this Buddha Jumps Over The Wall.

Sea treasures double boiled in traditional herbal broth.

This Cantonese Style Steamed Codfish is fantastic god!

Cook with superior soy sauce / young ginger / coriander and baby cabbage.

King Of Prawns Curried Butter Sauce! *Shredded egg / green asparagus / curry leaves*

&

Conpoy Fried Jasmine Rice. *Dried scallop / fresh bamboo leaf*

Sweetened Bird's Nest With Snow Fungus *Red dates / rock sugar syrup*

Last but not least, dessert of the night - Chinese Homemade Pastries.

*Moon cake tasting / snow skin gold fish / pear shape pastries / Asian inspired macaroon*
